2025 AGM - Tuesday 4 March 2025 at the Social Club
The future of our tennis and pickleball Club looks bright!!
Following our Open meeting on the 6 November we were joined by a significant number of Pickleball players and we have resolved to move forward with a view to embracing Pickleball and changing the Club name to reflect this.
We anticipate our new structure being formalised at our Annual General Meeting to be held at 7.30pm on Tuesday 4 March 2025 in the Social Club.
All members and non-members interested in tennis or pickleball and want to know more about the Club are invited to attend – if you would like more information please contact Paul Chubbuck or Emily Lewney (details below). Don’t worry if you are not a Social Club member – we can sign you in!
Please come along to hear about the sub group being lead by Emily and Richard Lewney with a view to improve our facilities by resurfacing and relining to include Pickleball courts. To achieve this the group will focus on obtaining quotations to undertake this work and securing funding to make this possible. If anyone is interested or able to help in any way please get in touch with us.
Our Pickleballers are continuing to play on our courts, subject to weather on Fridays at 10am. We’re also playing indoors at the school on Tuesdays 18.30-20.30. Why not give Pickleball a try: no experience is necessary!
Some of our members have been playing tennis during the winter but most of us however are looking forward to the new season and hopefully some summer sun. What better way to welcome the better weather than enjoying a game of tennis or Pickleball!
Why not come and join our Club for some fun tennis or hire a court for casual play.
Just a reminder for current members that all memberships are due for renewal on 1st April and as usual the court access code will be changed from that date. For 2025–6 membership details will be available on our web site from mid March. There is an active WhatsApp group for members to share information and find playing partners.
Our Adult Club nights for social tennis are Tuesdays & Thursdays 6.30 to 9pm and Club nights start Tuesday 8th April 2025 (or earlier if the weather permits). We look forward to seeing you!

1.8.2024 CLUB NIGHTS
Our Adult Club nights are Tuesdays & Thursdays 6.30 to 9pm. They begin in April for as long as weather permits.
A free session is offered on Club Nights to all who are considering joining the Club. Beginners or seasoned players, all are welcome to come on by.
